Linda McDonald graduated from the English Gardening School with a Diploma in Botanical Painting and has studied textiles and embroidery at the Chelsea School of Art and The Emily Carr College of Art in Vancouver.

Linda’s love of plants and creativity are combined in the detailed illustration required for botanical painting and bringing new ideas to painting natural objects.

She has exhibited in London, Sussex, Surrey, Cornwall and Canada.

Westonbirt Arboretum, The National Tree Collection have six paintings by Linda of their most significant trees on permanent exhibition in The Great Oak Hall.

Linda is a member of Nymans – National Trust Florelegium.
